INTERNHIP
Courses and internships treating both theoretical and practical aspects of restoration are offered in the studio space of the Associazione Bastioni.
Participants are offered the possibility to work directly with original works of art—paintings, sculptures, ceramic works, frescoes, glass—under the individual mentorship of professional restorers. This level of personal attention requires that internships are limited to two participants at a time. Internships can last anywhere from a minimum of three months to a maximum of one year.
Topics are approached from a broad range of perspectives to ensure that the needs of each participant—however varied their previous experience—and include conservation, restoration and cultural heritage. The Associazione take particular care to address both traditional and innovative materials and techniques in its approach.
All courses and internships are led directly by members of the Associazione Bastioni and draw on their combined experiences and resources, both human and technological.
No particular qualifications are required for admission but the Associazione reserves the right to review each candidates curriculum vitae before deciding admission.
A fee is required for participation in order to cover costs.
